Accessibility and distances The important advantage of DCT Gdansk is its unique location that has good accessibility both by land and sea. DCT Gdansk has a direct connection to Warsaw, the capital of Poland. Strategic location assure an advantageous access to DCT Gdansk and link to the transportation corridor connecting North and Middle of Europe and forward both South and East Regions: Balkan, Turkey.
Sea access: Access by sea is ice free year round with easy navigation conditions for vessels. Entry and berthing at DCT Gdansk is direct with a large sheltered turning circle adjacent to the 650m long quay with up to 16.5m draught depth. Large tugs and experienced pilotage is available if required.
Road and rail connections: Approximately 2.3km of road or rail links DCT Gdansk to the Polish and European hinterland road and rail networks. The current infrastructure access will be developed in the near future to increase its capacity improving the Sucharskiego route and the Gdansk S7 south ring road as an additional link to the A1 motorway.
Road connections: DCT Gdansk is connected via the Sucharskiego route and Jan Pawel II Bridge to the main Polish and European routes:
The A1 (”Amber motorway”) links the north and south of Poland, a section of the European E75 route that is part of the Pan-European Transport Corridor VI. The A1 motorway links Gdansk to Grudziadz in the south. In the near future the A1 will extend to Torun, Lodz, Czestochowa, the Silesia region and will connect to the Polish motorways A2 and A4. The A1 will also connect to European motorways. The north European route linking Poland to Finland and Norway; the south European route linking Poland to the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, Macedonia and Greece.

S1: Gdansk - Torun - Wloclawek - Lodz - Piotrkow Trybunalski - Radomsko - Czestochowa - Podwarpie - Dabrowa Gornicza - Sosnowiec - Myslowice - Katowice - Tychy - Pszczyna - Bielsko-Biala - Cieszyn European Route North - South Europe via Middle Europe linking Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary E 77 including polish route no.7: Gdansk - Elblag - Warszawa - Radom - Kielce - Krakow - Chyzne. - European Route West - East Europe linking: Germany, Poland, Russia, Lithuania, Bielalorus E28 include polish routes A6 motorway, no 6/S6, no 7/S7, no 22, no 54 via: Kolbaskowo - Szczecin - Goleniow - Koszalin - Gdynia - Gdansk.
Railway connections: DCT Gdansk Railway Terminal is directly linked with closely located Gdansk Northern Port Railway Station and further linked with Polish Rail Network and European Rail Network. Routes no E 65 and C-E 65 belong to European transportation corridor linking the Baltic Sea Region with Adriatic and Mediterranean Regions. Polish distance connects North and South Poland: E 65 via: Gdynia - Gdansk - Warszawa - Katowice - Zebrzydowice C-E 65 via: Tczew-Bydgoszcz-Inowrocław-Zdunska Wola-Karsznice-Tarnowskie Gory-Pszczyna
